Christmas Network Gathering 12.18.16!

Join friends and family of the Simple Church Alliance as we come together to celebrate Christmas!  Open Mic. The microphone will be open this evening and we want to encourage every simple church community to bring a Christmas song, poem, reading or story to share with everyone.  Please email me your communities idea for sharing! Food and Drink. We invite everyone to bring a dessert and finger food to share.  We will be providing tea, lemonade, water and coffee.  Specialty drinks will be available to purchase. Summer Network Gathering – July 30

  July 30th, we will return to the Wheeler’s Farm for a network wide summer gathering.  Worship, Prayer, Fellowship, Picnic, Fishing? Rock Skipping? Playing in the creek? The possibilities are endless.  We even hope to celebrate baptisms! Christmas Celebration Dec. 20

We hope you will join us this year for our Christmas Celebration!  December 20th at Awesome Inc., 348 E Main St, Lexington, KY 40507. 5-8PM You are invited to bring a friend and join other friends and family of the Simple Church Alliance as we celebrate the birth of Christ at our version of a Christmas party!  We will enjoy singing carols together, fellowship, and eating finger foods and desserts together.  Coffee and Drinks will be provided. Christmas Celebration Gathering – Dec. 14 – Downtown LEX

Sunday December 14th, from 5-7PM, the simple church alliance would like to invite all friends to come together to celebrate Christmas! Join others from the region as we celebrate Christ’s birth, fellowship, eat great food (see below), sing Christmas carols, and perhaps even do a little dancing! This year’s celebration will be held downtown Lexington at Awesome Inc., which is located at 348 E. Main St., Lexington, KY 40507 Guests are asked to bring savory and sweet finger foods to share with all. Drinks and service ware will be provided. You will be able to park in any of the lots surrounding Awesome Inc, as well as on the streets. Guest are encouraged to RSVP by emailing simplechurchalliance@gmail.com. July 17 – Simple Church Training @ Duerson’s

Simple Church Alliance’s monthly training opportunity! This month we are going to meet at the Duerson’s house!  Please join others from the region interested in leading simple church ministries in their neighborhoods and areas of influence.  We will enjoy some pizza together, fellowship, prayer, and encouragement.  Please bring your questions, praises, and insights to bless others.  In addition, we will be discussing some opportunities that are coming our way in the coming months.  We will look forward to having you join us and please feel free to bring a friend with you.  It is helpful if you can RSVP by emailing Gavin at gavinduerson@gmail.com.  Also don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any questions. June Simple Church Network Gathering – June 19

Simple Church Network Gathering THURSDAY June 19 – 6-8pm Wheeler Farm: 2302 Union Mill Rd, Nicholasville KY   Starting this month we are going to move our monthly training to Thursday nights…  To kick it off right we wanted to do something special so we are going to have a time of fellowship at the Wheeler’s farm!  This will not be a typical “training” but rather a time for folks from various simple churches to cross pollinate and encourage one another!  It is also a great time for anyone new to simple church to come and meet others who are involved!  We will plan on having pizza for everyone and we encourage you to bring a fishing pole, a folding chair, and any musical instruments you may have.  We will enjoy a time of fellowship… Read More »June Simple Church Network Gathering – June 19

“Spring Fever!” Sunday March 2nd!

Do you have spring fever?  If so, join together with simple church friends and family across the network and beyond for a few hours of games, crafts, snacks, and fun!  You don’t need to bring anything but your energy.  Who knows exactly what we will get into?  Basketball? Kickball? Dodge-ball? Volleyball? Board games?  We will have the gym and dinning room reserved at First Alliance (2201 Old Higbee Mill Road, Lexington, KY) for all of us to come together and burn off some energy and fellowship with one another!  Hope you can come and bring a friend!  If possible, please RSVP by emailing Gavin here!   See you Sunday March 1st! We invite you to come together with folks from various simple/organic/house church communities from the region to celebrate Christ’s birth! On December 8th, we will enjoy a special potluck dinner together and a time of singing Christmas songs.  We also would like to invite your simple church to consider sharing a creative presentation with everyone.  This could be led by your entire group or one person in your simple church, and it could be song, poem, skit, or any artistic presentation of your choosing related to Christmas!  In addition, if you would like to take part in baby dedications, we would love to make this opportunity available at this time as well.  As always, we encourage you to invite friends and family to come and learn more about simple church and meet others involved in… Read More »
