New Podcasts Up!

Hello friends! We have several new podcasts up at keepitsimplepodcast.com. You can also subscribe on iTunes at this link as well. It’s been awhile since I’ve updated the links, so you may remember that beginning with Episode 65, Tom and I re-launched the podcast with the idea of starting from scratch and re-introducing the “Who?” “What?” “When?” “Where?” “Why?” and “How?” questions surrounding simple/organic church. Episode 75 “Who Can Baptize Others in The Simple Church?” was just released. You can check out all the new episodes and the old ones at our website.  If you feel so inclined, I review on iTunes apparently helps the podcast come up more often in searches. In episode 2 of the all new Keep it Simple Podcast, we address the question “What is a simple church?” In order to answer this question, we begin by taking a look at what is absolutely necessary for a local church to exist.  Our search leads us to answer other questions like, “What are non-negotiable and what is optional when it come to ‘church?’” “What things are hindering the church from being all that God wants it to be?” In this podcast we will also look at two aspects of modern church that usually are considered essential– Professionals and Programs.  We re-examine their necessity for a vibrant and multiplying church to exist. Keep It Simple Podcast Now Available!

Tom Lecompte and I have started a new free podcast.  It is live now on iTunes at the links below.  Our hope is that we can encourage those searching for life with Christ outside traditional church structures through this audio format.  We are starting with some of the basic questions and sharing our stories about the journey God has us on.  If you are an audio person, perhaps it will be a blessing to you as you work out what it means to follow Jesus and be apart of His family in our day.  Please email us any feedback or questions you would like addressed.  We will look to update the podcast ever couple of weeks.
