Easter Network Gathering

Join us for a picnic*, fellowship, worship, encouragement, and an Easter egg hunt for the kids!  Let’s come together to celebrate our risen Lord with simple church friends and family from across the region.  We will meet inside from 10:30-12:30 and the trails will be available afterwards for you to enjoy throughout the day.  If you are a current simple church leader, it is very helpful if you can email and RSVP  for your group by Good Friday.  If you would like to share a testimony, poem, song, story, prayer, etc., come ready to do so.  If you have questions contact Gavin beforehand. Simple Church “Hangout” Changes

  Friends, After some prayer and discussion with several of you, I want to introduce a slight adjustment to the format of our monthly simple church Google Hangouts. The original intent for hosting the hangouts was to allow those of you who are a part of simple church outside of Central Kentucky to have a means for connecting with other simple churches. We continue to find that staying personally connected to others involved in simple church is an important aspect of helping one another be encouraged and focused. The Google Hangout, I believe has the potential to help those geographically separated from others to have a means for connection while God grows their community into a local network (more than one simple church). Christmas Celebration Dec. 20

We hope you will join us this year for our Christmas Celebration!  December 20th at Awesome Inc., 348 E Main St, Lexington, KY 40507. 5-8PM You are invited to bring a friend and join other friends and family of the Simple Church Alliance as we celebrate the birth of Christ at our version of a Christmas party!  We will enjoy singing carols together, fellowship, and eating finger foods and desserts together.  Coffee and Drinks will be provided. Summer Worship Celebration – June 28

Please join us for an awesome evening on Hickman Creek as we enjoy a time of worship and fellowship with our friends and family!  TIME: Sunday, June 28, 6-9pm RSVP: If you help lead a simple church, then please RSVP for the total number of folks coming with your group.  If you are not connected to a simple church community, then just RSVP for you, your family and friends. “Hangout” Wednesday Night on Google

The purpose of this “hangout” is to share some face-to-face (sort of) time with others involved or interested in simple church but are geographically separated from other like-minded folks.  Participants will be asked to share briefly about your current experience with “simple church” and what next step of faith you sense God is leading you to take in your discipleship/simple church journey.  If you are married, then it would be great to see you and your spouse together in the “hangout!” When: Wednesday December 3rd Time: 8PM Where: https://plus.google.com/events/celtse5kfrch53v1vvuh9f0bcq4 Please let me know if you would like to take part and we will send you instructions on how this will work. Fall Network Gatherings

Usually in the fall we host a network celebration gathering for all the simple churches to come together. This fall, we are going to do it a bit different… we will have three! The Wheelers would like to welcome everyone throughout this loose knit network of simple churches to join them and friends for food fellowship and prayer on the following Sunday evenings this fall.
